Food and Drink

Grantown on Spey is well served with hotels and restaurants, so if you are not eating at Brooklynn, there is a wide selection to suit most tastes and purses.

Recently, a number of attractive and interesting tea rooms have opened in Grantown, giving locals and visitors alike an excellent range for small meals and snacks.  Fish and Chips, kebabs etc can be bought at takeaways.  You could try a battered deep fried haggis or black pudding with chips – delicious.

These are some of our guests’ favourites:-

The Craig Bar –  www.thecraigbar.co.uk – excellent pies and pints and malts

The Wee Puffin – 0147987 3377 – home cooking in a comfortable atmosphere

High Street Merchants –   www.thehighstreetmerchants.com – Home bakes and interesting food, craft beer and lovely décor

The Garth Hotel www.garthhotel.com/ – Quality dinners in a lovely dining room.

Sylhet Brasserie – 0147987 3536 – a great variety of Indian dishes

Bon appetite
