Shopping

Grantown on Spey has an interesting High Street with a selection of local shops.  Below I have mentioned a few.

Do you remember the old fashioned hardware shops selling from nails and paint through seeds and soil to lovely crockery and kitchen essentials?  Well, Donaldsons on the High Street is just such a delight.

We are very lucky to have our own independent bookshop The Bookmark - www.thebookmark.co.uk/  - The shop offers a comprehensive selection of paperback and hard backed books and has a great range of children’s books.  Marjory Marshall is a font of information and will be able to help with literary and local information.

If you need a jewelled memento of your visit you could try Imray Jewellers

Quality country clothing/Fishing and Shooting needs are met at Mortimers - www.mortimersofspeyside.co.uk

Beale and Pyper - www.bealeandpyper.co.uk/ - is a super home and furniture shop.

If it rains, you could spend an afternoon at Smarty Art -  www.smartyart.co.uk - a ceramic painting studio.

There are many more shops to discover including an antiques shop, an excellent charity shop, post office, wool shop, children’s clothes shop, hobby shop an so much more.
